FULL ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT MENU All Items Fresh Made to Order On-Line Reservations |
We include below comments that some of our customers have
written to us about their dining experiences at Sushi Hunter.
"We first tried Sushi Hunter about a year ago when the sushi bar we used to go to was closed.
We have been regular customers ever since. We eat here 3-4 times per month. It is well worth the
drive from San Rafael. We always eat from the All-You-Can-Eat Menu. It is the only place we know
of in the entire Bay Area where this menu has more than 50 made-to-order items to choose from.
The all-you-can-eat items are identical to the same items ordered from the a la carte menu (generous
fish --- not too much rice). We strongly recommend Sushi Hunter to anyone who loves sushi and
traditional Japanese cooking. Strong warning: once you try it, you may become addicted like we did."
John and Barbara Cavalli, San Rafael. "We stopped by at Sushi Hunter while on vacation in
San Francisco. We were so pleased with both the food and the service, that we ate there a total of
three times in two weeks. We have told all our friends to make this a required stop on any trip
they may make to your great city. Keep up the good work!"
Joe and Pat Hanish, Glen Eagles, Michigan. "What a delightful spot for excellent sushi! My wife
and I come to San Francisco at least once a month to visit relatives. We had just come
from seeing Beach Blanket Babylon, which is right around the corner. We were
both still on a kind of high from the performance. Our dinner at Sushi Hunter was the perfect
way to top off a wonderful evening. We will certainly add Sushi Hunter to our list of favorite
San Francisco dining places. The owners, Kristy and Hanson, are wonderful hosts. The sushi
chefs are true masters."
Walt and Samantha Keller "We come to San Francisco about every two years to visit
friends and enjoy the city. We particularly enjoy Asian food, and what better place to try it than
San Francisco. We have shopped around over the years for a sushi bar combined with other Japanese
cuisine. This stuff is particularly expensive in England. What a great surprise to find a place
where we can eat sushi as well as hot entrees at such bargain prices. Your all-you-can-eat menu
is a true treasure. Although distance prevents us from coming often, you can be sure that we will
stop by every time we are on your side of the pond! Thank you very much."
Malcolm and Barbara Brooke-Read, Nailsworth, England. "I was stationed in Japan while in the navy. While
there, I acquired a taste for all things Japanese, particularly food. Indiana is not known for
its wonderful sushi - or other Japanese offerings for that matter. On a recent trip to your city
I stopped at Sushi Hunter. I thought I was back in Yokohama (except that the prices were a lot
better!!). I will certainly add Sushi Hunter to my list of favorite places to visit in SF."
Dan Keilman, Chesterton, Indiana. "I don't care for sushi too much, except for the California roll. But my husband is a fanatic. We were delighted to discover Sushi Hunter. We can both pig out on the all-you-can-eat items without getting in each other's way. The cooked entrees are simply great. I particularly love your gyoza. My husband, can't get enough of your sushi. Thank you." Mary and Dave, San Rafael. |

Sushi Hunter
is a small and friendly sushi bar and restaurant located in North Beach. We offer prompt table service, a
full a la carte menu and superb all-you-can-eat selections. We are famous for our all-you-can-eat
menu which contains more than 50 made-to-order fresh items from every part of our menu: nigiri
and maki sushi, appetizers, salads, and special sushi rolls. We do not have a buffet - all our items
are hand-made fresh. Our house signature dishes include chicken karaage, specialty rolls, and our fantastic
gyoza. We pride ourselves on the freshness of our fish, and the generous proportion of fish versus rice.
Both our service and our menu cannot be beat. We attract a young clientele, but we also know how to treat
our more mature customers.
We have an extensive 10-page menu with hundreds of sushi and sashimi items, traditional entrees, bento
box, appetizers and salads. We have Japanese beer, sake, fine wines, and soft drinks. Truly something
for every palate.
Though there are many sushi establishments in San Francisco, we are certain that we offer the best value
for money. Our service is great and our food is fantastic. We aim to please, and we always succeed. We
are located in the North Beach area, near Beach Blanket Babylon. If you're planning a night at the
theater, stop by afterwards. We guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Thank you.
